Agree one useful specification
Collect requirements from the person who will pack the bag and the people who will use it. Gym bags for a short training session may need a different layout from duffel bags carrying a full team kit. Agree dimensions, colour, carrying features and any essential compartment before comparing prices. Keep optional preferences separate from requirements that would make a product unsuitable.
Separate product and artwork decisions
Select a small number of suitable catalogue models and ask for branding compatibility. A logo that works on a shirt may need a different scale on a bag. Confirm whether one side or multiple positions are required, and whether player names or numbers are part of the order. Individual personalisation must be quoted and approved explicitly rather than added to an assumed standard logo print.
Check the quantities carefully
Create a count for each product and colour, including any agreed spare bags. Ask whether the quote covers packaging and whether mixed colours affect the order. Catalogue minimum quantities, when supplied, apply to the listed item and do not automatically establish the conditions for every branding process. Final availability and total cost are confirmed in the written quotation.
Plan the handover
State the event date and the earlier date the team organiser needs to receive the goods. Include receiving hours and a delivery contact, especially for schools or sports venues. Review the artwork proof alongside the product choice, not in isolation. Retain both approvals for future repeat orders, which still require a new stock and production check.
